| Bio: | Born and raised near Buffalo, New York. Majored in Computer Programming in college. Moved to Maryland after graduation and been a programmer for the DoD ever since. Still single, I live with two keeshonden, Athena (10) and Jack (1.5). I've been a science fiction fan for as long as I can remember. I learned of the existance of conventions in my senior year of high school and actually made it to a convention two years later. I've never looked back. As a fan, I've been a reader, an editor, a poet, a writer, a cartoonist, an illustrator, a costumer, a filker, and a techie. I've always loved to sing. I've sung in choruses since 5th grade. I've been a Boogie Knight since July 1987 and I still love it. The Boogie Knights are a group of amateur musicians who specialize in parodies with a medieval and fantasy theme. We write and perform our own lyrics at science fiction conventions. We've performed as far east as Boston, as far west as Columbus, Ohio, as far north as Toronto, and as far south as Atlanta, but we call Baltimore home. We've produced four CDs: "Cavalier Attitude" (now sold out), "Oh the Horror!", "Hysterically Inaccurate", and "Of Mythic Distortions". We hope to have the first copies of CD#5 "Many s Sleepless Knight" available at the beginning of September 2006. Check us out. We'd love to hear from you. | |||||
